The Laboratory for
Computational Motor Control is in need of volunteers who are interested in
participating in one of our research experiments. In a typical
experiment, the volunteer will learn to control a robot while we measure some
component of his or her movements. We
are interested in understanding how the healthy brain learns control, and how
this process is affected when a disease damages the brain. A small number
of subjects may be asked to participate in an imaging study of the brain, or in
a transcranial magnetic stimulation study.
All research protocols have
undergone a review process and have been approved by the Johns Hopkins
University Institutional Review Board to ensure safety of the volunteers.
